Ilka Meyer, born in Bremen in October 1972, studied painting, sculpture and media arts at the Fine Arts Academies of Mainz (Diploma in 2003 / Rhenanie-Palatinat) and Leipzig (HGB). She exhibits on an international level and had serveral teaching positions at Art Academies in Mainz and Berlin, Germany, and was a member of the comission „Kunst im öffentlichen Raum/Public Art“ des bbk Berlin (Berrufsverband Bildender Künstler Berlin). |
