HAUSHOCH (Reihe Berlin), John Locke-Siedlung

6 photographic works, 2007
30x40cm / 0,98ft.x1,31ft., photo print on Crane paper

The object in the photograph wants to be a house, it is – and it is not all at the same time. It consists of something which we call nature, yet the object has the shape of something manmade. It carries the thought of the horizon and of open space, although it is a massive and enclosed body.
